INTERESTED IN THE CLUB
If you are interested in joining the USMVMC or if you just want to ride with us to see and experience some of the lifestyle, then please take the following steps to ensure that you become fully aware and understand the culture, requirements, process, and commitment needed when joining the brotherhood of the US Military Vets Motorcycle Club.
Step 1

Understand what it means to be in a traditional motorcycle club. If you know this (but most do not), skip to Step 2.

This may be a long read, but we are not looking for riding enthusiasts who are just looking to throw a patch on their back and "ride the easy road". We are looking for, BROTHERS.

So, What is a motorcycle club (MC)?
Step 2

Meet the following minimum requirements of the USMVMC:
-
Males having a DD Form 214 and have served 181 days or more in an active duty status. (Reserve and National Guard members can count active duty for training and "summer camps" ). Have full rights to veteran's benefits and have received an Honorable Discharge from the United States military or be currently on active duty for a period greater than 181 days, or currently in the National Guard or Reserves
-
Have a valid motorcycle operator's license
-
Pay monthly dues
-
Active participation in the club
-
Have a 750 cc motorcycle or larger
Step 3

Know and complete the process (at a minimum):

Hang Around
If approved by the President, any individual meeting Line 5 in Step 2 can ride with the group as a supporting patriot.

All other individuals meeting all requirements in Step 2 can ride with the group as an interested observer. This individual may also be invited to attend a chapter meeting (church) to discuss their intentions with the USMVMC.

Phase 1 - Prospect
During the Prospect phase, the individual will go to runs and attend portions of meetings (church) with the club chapter as a guest. This gives the prospect a chance to evaluate his desire to belong to this brotherhood and for the club members to evaluate his basic personality and compatibility.

Phase 2 - Probate
The Probate phase is longer and gives the probate the opportunity to learn the proper conduct of a member in an MC. It affords the membership the opportunity to evaluate the probate as an individual that they will be proud to label and depend upon as a brother. During this time the probate is under the direct supervision of an experienced member (sponsor) whenever wearing the club "rockers".

Final Phase - Patch Holder
The individual is accepted and unanimously voted into the USMVMC by the chapter membership. BUT, your quest is not over, just only begun. Your commitment, participation, loyalty, respect, and attitude will decide how long your journey will be.

"You'll expect from the club, the same as what you put into it."
"How you treat the club, is how you will be treated."
Mil Vets Forever, Forever Mil Vets
